The eLibrary On-Line Help is provided to help those users who are new to the eLibrary system or who may need further information about using certain aspects of the system.
The following information explains how to use the Help system to its fullest capacity.
To access this Help system, simply click on a Help link that can be found on each Web page. There are essentially two Web page formats in the eLibrary system: one has links in a blue column with on the left side of the page, the other has links in a blue bar near the top of the page. Help links are included in both types of pages.
There are two types of Help systems available for your use. One type is Section 508 accessibility compliant for persons with disabilities. The other provides standard help. You will see the two types of links on the blue left-hand column of the search-type eLibrary Web pages; click on the one you want to use. Other Web pages have a Section 508 Compliant help link on the menu bar at the top. Because Section 508-Compliant Help has, of necessity, different ways of presenting the Help information, the standard Help system is available for those users who would prefer and be more comfortable with the alternative.
This Help system is Web-based. It offers interactive components that take you right to the information you need so you can use eLibrary more effectively.
This Help system provides several levels of information. If you need only certain types of information and have an idea of what you are looking for, you can use the Table of Contents to go directly to the topic you need. If you need more detailed information, you can follow the links that are provided in the topics to go to other topics that provide the level of information that you want.
