You should make sure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your PC. Some of the older drivers make the page print inversed.
Slow print problems may be caused by the Java Virtual Machine's (JVM) inability to efficiently handle requests from a 16-bit OS (i.e., Win95 & 98). This is an inherent problem with JVMs in Internet Explorer and is therefore not a NetVue issue. It is likely you would experience noticeably better printing performance on WinNT and 2000 clients.
The "Local Print" feature in NetVue relies on the JVM, which displays all documents and images in image format, specifically TIFF. This functionality is especially needed in order to support "side-by-side" printing. For that reason, all document pages print at relatively the same speed, which is that of rendering a graphic via the JVM.
To improve the printing performance, ensure the Win95 workstation is running the latest build for the version of the JVM being used. You can verify the build number by checking the properties of msjava.dll in the Win95 system directory. The latest version of the JVM (3802) is available at http://www.microsoft.com/java/vm/dlvm40.htm. It addresses some of the known issues, such as memory leaks, which could be contributing to poor printing performance.
