Approved Transcript Correction

This is a document that shows errata and other changes to the verbatim transcript of a hearing as approved and accepted, or rejected, individually or in whole, by the presiding ALJ or the Commission.  Proposed corrections to a transcript may be submitted by any party to the proceeding, then it must be approved.  Approved corrections are issued usually as numbered replacement pages (pages of a transcript are numbered consecutively through all volumes or sessions of a hearing) and are not necessarily identified by volume.  Approved transcript corrections are also maintained in the eLibrary in a form where approval or rejection is marginally noted by the presiding ALJ on the document submitted by the party proposing corrections.

Hearing Transcript

This is a verbatim record of a litigated proceeding before an ALJ or the Commission as approved by the ALJ or the Commission, including prehearing conferences and oral argument.  A hearing transcript is recorded for each session of a hearing, and each session is identified by a sequential volume number.  A hearing or a session of a hearing may be conducted on camera, and the record of such a hearing or session is a sealed document not available in the eLibrary.

Conference/Hearing Transcript

This is a verbatim record of a meeting or conference conducted by the Commission, issued in a separate volume for each session of the meeting or conference.  In some instances, the transcript is a record of a meeting or conference conducted jointly by FERC and another agency or agencies.
